1a. Acceptance of Terms of Service

Welcome to SWLA-Democracy (Saying What Landlords Ask-Democracy). The browser and members-area of the SWLA-Democracy web site is provided free of charge. The protected membership area will be accessible to users who register with SWLA-Democracy. These Terms of Service will govern your use of SWLA-Democracy.
By using any of the information available on the site, you are indicating your agreement to be bound by these terms of service, and as such, terms may be modified from time to time. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not enter or re-enter the SWLA-Democracy website or sign up for a Free password and Free membership.
No part of the site (text or images) may be downloaded and saved on any computer system nor information printed
it ALWAYS remains the property of SWLA-Democracy.

1b. SWLA-Democracy Definition

The definition of SWLA-Democracy is "Saying What Landlords Ask-Democracy". Nothing is hereby therefore construed to pass-off / trade-off or anything else. No liability accepted for mis-use, mis-understanding nor mis-interpretation

If these Terms of Service change, a note will be posted on the SWLA-Democracy home page requesting that you review this document again. If you do not agree to the changes in the Terms of Service as they may occur, immediately discontinue your use of SWLA-Democracy membership area. Your continued use of SWLA-Democracy membership area will signify your acceptance of any change in the terms and conditions set forth herein.

2. Membership Area Description

The user understands and agrees that the access password provides them with access (only) to the membership area; and not the purchase of specific content and or services. Due to the fluid nature of the content provided on SWLA-Democracy, information and or services may be altered, added to, or deleted over time. We make no guarantee that specific information and or services will always be available to the user. memberships automatically expire one year from the membership start date. It is an unlimited-use membership, which may be used as often or as little as the member wishes during the membership period.

3. Registration Information/Privacy Policy

SWLA-Democracy employs a secure third-party membership management system. You will be required to provide
your own name, address, e-mail address, in order to obtain access to the membership area.

Any information provided by you or gathered by SWLA-Democracy during any visit to SWLA-Democracy shall not be divulged to a third party and be subject to the terms of SWLA-Democracy.

You represent to SWLA-Democracy that you are 18 years of age, or older and have the authority to join the
SWLA-Democracy membership service according to these Terms of Service.

SWLA-Democracy reserves the right to change its terms at any time.

SWLA-Democracy reserves the right to terminate your SWLA-Democracy membership if we learn that you have provided false or misleading registration information or passed on the copyrighted information to a third party not authorised to receive it.

4. Termination

SWLA-Democracy reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to immediately, without notice, suspend or terminate these Terms of Service; and or your membership, or ability to access SWLA-Democracy and or any other service provided to you by SWLA-Democracy upon any breach by you of the Terms of Service.

5. Modifications of these Terms of Service

SWLA-Democracy may modify these Terms of Service from time to time in its sole discretion. Each time you log on to SWLA-Democracy you will be deemed to have accepted any such changes. In the event we modify these Terms of Service; we will also post a note on the home page stating that the Terms of Service have been changed.

6. Modifications to SWLA-Democracy

SWLA-Democracy may modify SWLA-Democracy with or without notice to you and without liability to you or any third party. If SWLA-Democracy is discontinued for any reason, SWLA-Democracy membership will not be entitled to any l compensation or cost(s) whatsoever.

7. SWLA-Democracy Username and Password

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password. Your membership username and password may not be posted to any publicly viewed area and or web page, and may not be shared between colleagues, friends or co-workers. You shall be responsible for all uses of your registration, whether or not authorized by you. You agree to immediately notify SWLA-Democracy of any unauthorized use of your membership or password.

Login management software utilised by SWLA-Democracy monitors each user log in and determines if password misuse has occurred. If misuse is detected the user account will automatically be blocked and services will be discontinued or terminated at the discretion of SWLA-Democracy.

8. Use of Web Site Information

You expressly agree that the content within the SWLA-Democracy area is solely for your personal use, and all content provided on the web site is the property of SWLA-Democracy. membership and visitors may download information for their personal use only. No content found on the web site may be posted in any public, and or privately viewed shared area, without the express written consent of SWLA-Democracy.

9. Refunds

No money changes hands - this service is provided 100% free to all.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

SWLA-Democracy makes no warranty that our services and or content will meet your requirements, or that our services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error free; nor does SWLA-Democracy as to the results that may be obtained from the use of content found on this web site (including any links etc).

You understand and agree that SWLA-Democracy will not be liable for any direct, consequential or incidental damages or injuries, whether foreseeable or not, which may result from the information provided by SWLA-Democracy.

You understand and agree that SWLA-Democracy does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information in or provided in connection with the site, nor are we responsible for any errors or omissions or for the results obtained from the use of such information. All information is provided in good faith.

SWLA-Democracy not be responsible for any loss or damage caused, or alleged to have been caused, directly or indirectly, by the information or ideas contained, suggested or referenced in. No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained by you from SWLA-Democracy, its employees, contributors or volunteer consultants shall create any warranty not expressly made herein.

SWLA-Democracy makes no warranty regarding any goods or services purchased or obtained through the website or any transactions entered into through merchant links available on the web site.

11. Limitation of Liability

SWLA-Democracy shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, resulting from the use of or the inability to use of the service or for the cost of procurement of substitute services.

12. Indemnification

By browsing or registering to use the members area, you agree to indemnify and hold SWLA-Democracy, its owner, contributors and volunteer consultants harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by you or any third party due to or arising out of your use of SWLA-Democracy.

13. Applicable Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
By joining or entering SWLA-Democracy web-site, you consent and submit to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in the UK.

14. Remedies for Breach of these Terms by You

In the event that SWLA-Democracy determines, in its sole discretion, that you have breached any portion of these Terms of Service, SWLA-Democracy reserves the right to (1) warn you via e-mail that you have violated these Terms of Service, (2) delete all content provided by you to SWLA-Democracy, and (3) discontinue or terminate your membership and or access to the SWLA-Democracy web site.

If your membership is discontinued or terminated due to your violation of any portion of these Terms of Service, or for conduct otherwise inappropriate for the community of SWLA-Democracy, then you agree that you shall not attempt to re-register with SWLA-Democracy through use of a different member name or otherwise.

15. Miscellaneous

In the event that any provision of the Terms of Service conflicts with the law under which the Terms of Service are to be construed or if any such provisions are held invalid by a court with jurisdiction over the parties to the Terms of Service, such provision will be deemed to be restated to reflect as nearly as possible the original intentions of the parties in accordance with applicable law, and the remainder of these Terms of Service will remain in full force and effect.
